WHAT is it all about?
International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women’s past, present and future. In some places like China, Poland, Russia, Vietnam and Bulgaria, International Women's Day is a national holiday. On the 8th of March, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate their achievements.
You are cordially invited to participate as a sponsor for the 104th Anniversary Celebration of International Women’s Day in Columbus, Ohio. This event will include a day full of activities enriched with diverse entertainment, food and engaging festivities aspired to connect women from all around the world. The festivities will kick off with an Awards Dinner on Wednesday, March 4th,2015; recognizing different women and organizations for their contribution to the uplifting of our Central Ohio International community. Nominations start September 20th and end January 14th, with the web voting commencing on January 15th and ending February 28th, 2015.
